School & Individual Partners

Bal  Bharati Public School in Sector 21 NOIDA was the first to partner with  ANAWA by allocating one classroom in 1994, for the students of ANKUR to  study in. Over a period of ten years, as one class got added every year,  this increased to ten classrooms and eventually 12 as JAGRITI, the  Vocational segment got added. ANKUR started with Nursery and added  classes till VIII. Bal Bharati also supported ANAWA financially, by  taking Re1/ per child per month towards ANKUR. This was disbursed to  ANAWA on a quarterly basis. This association lasted till Jan 2017

Affiliation  with NIOS started in 2002. Today Class V & VIII are enrolled with  National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and are issued certificates  from them, which enables students to either join main-stream schools or  sit for Class X exam through NIOS, for which they are eligible

This  school in Sector 22 NOIDA, came to the aid of ANAWA when all else  seemed bleak. ANKUR was shifted to Dharam Public School in January of  2016 and was lodged there till 1 April 2017 when it shifted to  Somerville School Sector 22 NOIDA. ANAWA Trust is ever grateful to the  management of Dharam Public School for helping out in this interim  period

It  was providence that brought the ANAWA Trust in contact with the  management of the Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. After Mrs D  Tressler and Mr Roy Thomas visited ANKUR School in Dharam Public School,  they invited us to shift our students to Somerville School in Sector 22  NOIDA w.e.f. 1 Apr 2017. Ten class-rooms and sundry facilities have  been provided for use by ANKUR students. Having taken us under their  wing, the Management and Principal have ensured the students feel wanted  and are part of their outreach programmes. Besides providing cupboard  for each class, they gave gifts to the students at Christmas time

Individual Donor:

ANAWA  has been very fortunate to have found individual donors when in need and not supported by funding corporates.   Two donors came to the Trust rescue in the years when it was not supported by any corporate. Their contributions of rupees two lakhs each was very timely and of great assistance in the running of the programme. More recently  Mr Dutta contributed Four Lakhs to  cover our rental & bus hiring, when ANKUR shifted to Dharam Public  School
