Army Navy Air Force Wives Activity Trust (ANAWA Trust) was registered as NGO under Indian Trust Act 1882 on 16th October 2008. Its members are wives of retired officers from Indian Defense Forces. Its Founder President who is still in office is Ms Kelly Sikand, who along with the following Office Bearers and seven other Trustees, administer the activities of the Trust (detailed under Trustees).

iii) Ms. Kamna R Cowasjee – Secretary
iv) Ms. Sneh Garg – Treasurer.
The main thrust of the projects is to accommodate the Girl Child to make her a contributing entity in the family. To this end, students are exposed to extra and co-curricular activities, current topics of interest, dance, drama, music, debates, elocution, arts, craft, and computers. ANAWA is an affiliate of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and students appear for Class III, V and VIII exams.
ANAWA Trust currently runs three projects, ANKUR (a non-formal educational programme), JAGRITI (providing Vocational skills & basic education till class V to women) and AASTHA (tutorial support for ANKUR students to complete Class XII) from its NFE Centre.
ANAWA members meet once a month. Project activities are shared regularly on this platform and members invited to visit the school, judge competitions and be involved in its activities. They often pool resources to provide refreshment to the students.
